Definitely a space saver for TSA requirements. Perfect for travel when you don't want to bring a razor and shaving cream. Compact and powerful. But shave is like most electrics.good enough, but not great.
The foil comes off easily for cleaning and you just rinse out the cutters (never use a brush on the foil). If you want longer life you can use lithiums or rechargeables. I haven't had to replace the two AA batteries yet -- they last quite a while.
I saw this cheap, compact, neat-looking unit and figured the worst that could happen was wasting eighteen bucks. Well made, good heft, clever cover and switch, shaves very close. My (30 year old) travel Norelco broke and I needed a replacement.
The trimmer is tiny but perfect for those little repairs when you are on the road. All in all, a razor that is perfectly designed for its intended purpose (travel). Surprise.

I returned it to Amazon for a refund and bought a Panasonic from Amazon as a replacement The shaver did not function or turn on when I received it.
It is very portable, has the cover built-in, can be used dry or wet, runs on regular 2 AA batteries, and surprisingly for its size (and price) gives a very comfortable and clean shave. I tried several expensive electric razors before and honestly, this one out performs them and costs 1/3 of what I paid for them. I purchased this shaver before my vacation based on the positive reviews. I actually switched to DE razors but I still keep (and use) this little shaver for times when I need a quick shave or something to take with me on a trip. Great product that I highly recommend. It arrived on-time (thanks Amazon). and it performs great.
Beyond that, the foil design won't be able to shave well. Good portable shaver. Will cut up to two days of growth.
